Warzone players call for major changes to broken Rebirth Reinforced respawn system - Charlie INTEL

Warzone Pacific players are calling for the developers to change the overpowered respawning in Rebirth Reinforced.

Warzone Season 2 Reloaded brought a major update to Rebirth Island, but players are asking the developers to make some major changes to the respawn protection system in Rebirth Reinforced.

When the Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update went live on March 23, it brought Rebirth Reinforced, the biggest update to Rebirth Island since its original release back in December 2020.

The new map changes include brand-new POIs and Weapons Trade Stations. However, players are frustrated with the respawn system that allows enemies to come back and kill you with no way to stop them.

Spawn protection is a system that prevents players from immediately getting killed over and over in Warzone. Reddit user ‘Danbuys’ stated that the spawn protection on Rebirth Island makes enemies too powerful.

They claimed that the enemy’s spawn protection allows them to break shields while players can’t damage them back. The Redditor wrote: “It’s way too long and allows a literal invincible enemy to drop on you at Mach 10 speeds during a firefight and down you.”

One user replied: “I think the worst [thing] about this is when you start shooting someone in the sky and deal barely any damage. They land on you while you have to reload or don’t have enough bullets left to finish the kill, and they absolutely gun you down using the Diamatti.”

Many of the commenters agreed that the Rebirth Reinforced spawn system needs a rework. One player shared a suggestion: “I think it should be as soon as you fire a bullet while dropping in, spawn protection should end.”

This change would grant you a fighting chance against respawning players. The current system deactivates spawn protection after pulling a parachute a second time to keep players from spamming bullets on their way down.

Here are the best PC settings to boost performance and visual quality in Warzone Pacific, including how to use the DLSS technology.

Making sure you have the best FPS and PC settings in Warzone Pacific can give you an advantage over your opponents, so we’ve put together the ultimate guide to make the most of your hardware in Season 2 Reloaded.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded has brought fresh content for players, introducing new Weapon Trade Stations and a brand new SMG. With all the new content, some may think figuring out the best weapons to use is the key to victory. However, as always, having the best settings can improve your output massively, especially on PC.

When playing Warzone, you want to have the highest frames-per-second possible. Not only will your game feel smoother and more enjoyable, but your reaction time and ability to track moving targets will improve immensely.

To get you the best performance from your gaming rig, we’ve put together the best Warzone PC settings and filters you can use to have the game looking and performing at its best.

Before playing Call of Duty: Warzone, you need to make sure your system can run the game. Using a PC that doesn’t fulfill the basic requirements will have the game run so poorly that it’s unplayable.

By looking at these settings, you’ll have a strong indication of how well Warzone will run on your PC. However, they may not be completely accurate now that Warzone has shifted to Caldera.

Read on for the optimal settings for both frame rate and visuals, no matter your gaming rig.

To get the optimal performance from your system and make Warzone run as smoothly as possible, you need to make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date.

Here’s how to update your graphics drivers.

If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, the GeForce experience app will handle this for you.

If you have an AMD GPU, you can use the Radeon Settings to update your drivers.

NVIDIA’s DLSS (or Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology allows players with RTX graphics to see much higher FPS when playing Vanguard and Warzone at a high resolution.

What DLSS does is set your game to a lower resolution, thus increasing performance, but giving the appearance of high resolution. It’s the perfect combination of visuals and performance.

NVIDIA says you can see an FPS boost of up to 70% while playing Warzone at 4K.

If you have an NVIDIA GPU, turning DLSS on is simple in Warzone. You can find it in the Post-Processing Effects tab of your graphics settings.

From there, you can set DLSS to be either Ultra Performance, Performance, Balanced, or Quality.

If you’re seeing FPS dips in Caldera, we’d recommend setting it at Ultra Performance or Performance. If you have a 30 series graphics card, Balanced is an excellent middle ground.

For a smooth experience, you want Warzone to remain above 60 FPS. However, you may notice that some pockets of Caldera will cause FPS drops. If you have an older graphics card such as the NVIDIA 1000 series, you’ll want to use the graphics settings below to make Warzone as smooth and pleasurable to play as possible.

When setting a custom framerate, you want to set the Gameplay Custom Framerate limit to match your monitor’s refresh rate, e.g 144 FPS on a 144hz monitor. If your frames exceed your monitor’s refresh rate, you could see screen tearing.

You should set the Menu Custom Framerate Limit to 60, and the frame rate to Minimized to 5, which is the lowest option.

When playing Warzone on an older gaming rig, you’ll need to sacrifice visual quality for performance. We recommend having everything here on Low or Normal so your game isn’t choppy and frustrating to play.

If you have less than 16GB of RAM in your PC, we recommend disabling Cache Spot Shadows.

No matter how powerful your system is, you should always disable Motion Blur and Filmic effects. These unnecessary effects give more visual noise to your game, making it look worse for no reason.

When playing Warzone on a high-end gaming rig, you want to take full advantage of your expensive hardware. If you’re playing on a top-of-the-range NVIDIA 2000 or 3000 series card, you can crank up the visuals and still maintain a competitive FPS.

Here are the best graphics settings for playing Warzone on the best hardware.

When setting a custom framerate, you want to set the Gameplay Custom Framerate limit to match your monitor’s refresh rate, e.g 165 FPS on a 165hz monitor.

You should set the Menu Custom Framerate Limit to 60, and the frame rate to Minimized to 5, which is the lowest option.

Raytracing will be an unnecessary hit to your system, even on top of the range GPUs and CPUs. To get the best balance between visuals and performance, you’re better off leaving Raytracing disabled.

Even with a powerful system, you should always disable Motion Blur and Filmic effects when trying to use the best Warzone PC settings. These unnecessary filters will create visual noise and make your game look worse without any advantages.

If you’ve ever wondered why streamers’ and content creators’ versions of Warzone are so bright and colorful, the answer is NVIDIA filters.

These filters applied over your game can increase brightness and color saturation, making Warzone a much more visually appealing game. Even though the pesky Roze skin was nerfed back in Season 4, dark-colored operator skins can blend into the environment. We’d only recommend using these on a high-end system, as it will give a slight hit to your FPS.

YouTuber JGOD has created an in-depth guide on how to use these filters to make Caldera look great.

Here’s a summary of how to apply NVIDIA filters to Warzone.

Your game will now look even more bright and vibrant, making Warzone a pleasure to look at and play.

No matter your gaming rig, you can use these settings when playing Call of Duty: Warzone on PC, to get the optimal performance and visuals.

If you’re still experiencing low frames, it could be something wrong with your system or settings, so here’s how to fix low FPS issues in Warzone Pacific.

To improve your accuracy and movement in Warzone, here are the best controller settings after the Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update.

Call of Duty: Warzone offers players many controller settings to fine-tune, such as Aim Assist and movement. We’ve put together a guide to help you find the best settings to use in Warzone Pacific.

With Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded, players have a bunch of new content to get to grips with, such as Rebirth Island map changes, the new Armaguerra SMG, Communication Towers, and Golden Vaults all detailed in the patch notes.

Despite the update, aim and movement remain the most important mechanics to master, so you’ll need the best settings in order to dominate. Whether you play with a controller on PC or consoles, here are the best Warzone controller settings to improve your accuracy and movement in Caldera.

For your button layout, Tactical is the best choice. When playing Warzone, you’ll constantly be crouching, slide canceling, and going prone. Tactical maps your crouch/slide button to the thumbstick, so you don’t need to move your thumb and can be as quick as possible when using the best Warzone controller settings.

You also want Deadzone to be as low as possible for maximum response time while aiming. Start with your Deadzone set to 0 and keep increasing it until you no longer have any stick drift. This depends entirely on how old your controller is.

Tap to use is a godsend. Your game will prioritize whether you reload or interact based on your situation. You’ll be able to instantly open crates and reload, making it a vital setting to enable.

When using Parachute Auto-Deploy, you want to get comfortable with having it Disabled. You’ll be able to pull your chute lower to the ground, meaning you can reach the ground as fast as possible. It can be daunting knowing there’s no safeguard, but pulling your chute close to the ground is extremely worthwhile.

Warzone has separate Aim Response Curves, so you can fine-tune your aim to something you’re comfortable with. Their titles can be confusing, so we’ll break down exactly what they mean and what’s best for you.

The majority of players use Standard. Whether you’re new to Call of Duty or a returning player, this will feel the most natural to you.

If you’re confident in your aim and can transition between targets quickly, we’d recommend using Dynamic. Many of the top players use this response curve because of the fine aim rate control it provides.

Warzone offers four Aim Assist types, so you can find what comes most naturally to you. We would never recommend turning Aim Assist off, but here’s a breakdown of the options available to controller players when it comes to the best Warzone controller settings.

The majority of players should use Standard Aim assist. It provides the perfect aim slowdown near targets while still allowing for precise adjustments if you need to make them.

If you’re new to FPS games and aren’t used to aiming with a controller yet, you should use Focusing until you feel the Aim Assist is stronger than you need, then use Standard.

Some of the Warzone community believe that to be an accurate sniper. You need to play on a mouse and keyboard. This isn’t true, as with the right settings, you can be downing players from miles away and quickscoping with precision up-close.

For your Aim Response Curve, you should use Dynamic. You’ll be able to have finer control over how fast your crosshair is moving, allowing for easier flick shots and tracking far-off players.

For your Aim Assist Type, it’s the same situation as any other weapon. If you’re a confident player and need to make micro-adjustments to hit sniper headshots, you should use Precision. And if you’re comfortable with your aim and don’t have an issue sniping with Aim Assist, Standard will be the perfect choice.

You should also check out our ranked list of the best snipers to use in Warzone.

Warzone PC players have the option to adjust the game’s field of view. Console players still don’t have this option as the devs announced it won’t be coming to console.

Increasing your FOV allows you to see much more of what’s in front of you. Console’s FOV is set to around 80 by default, while PC players can crank that value all the way up to 120. This gives PC players a major advantage in seeing more players off to the side of their screen.

Using such as high FOV will stretch and shrink everything in front of you, which can throw off your Aim Assist.

Activision has added a setting to combat this, which is well worth using if you play Warzone with a high FOV on a controller. It would be best if you had Scale Aim Assist with FOV set to Enabled, as this will keep your Aim Assist consistent, no matter your field of view.

Although we’ve provided the best Warzone controller settings you should try, there’s no setting that works perfectly for everyone. It’s tempting to find your favorite pro player or content creator and copy their settings, but they might not be the best for you.

We’d recommend jumping into a Custom Game of Modern Warfare and testing out some different controller settings to find the best Warzone controller settings for you, as they both use the same engine. If you don’t own MW, then Plunder, or any other respawn game mode will work well.

To maximize your time while testing out the settings, here’s what we’d recommend:

With these custom game settings, you’ll be able to practice shooting for as long as you like. Shoothouse is small enough that you’ll be able to fight constantly, and the Recruit level bots will hardly shoot back at you.

While you’re in this private mode, you should also try getting your Minimum Input Thresholds as low as they’ll go. Start at 0, and move it up one until you no longer receive stick drift.
